Explore Our Self-Paced Courses

The Explore tool in eLearning@UNG (D2L) allows faculty, staff, and students to self-enroll in special courses and tutorials. In Explore, users can view the available offerings, click an item for a brief description and then enroll.

The self-paced workshops can be started and finished at any time.

What’s In Explore?

Click the Explore link on the eLearning@UNG (D2L) homepage navbar. This opens thumbnail images of the Explore content.

In the large thumbnail view, click the Load More link to see additional courses and tutorials.

Click an image or title to read the course description. Click the Enroll in Course button to begin the self-paced course or tutorial.

Click the View All link above the large thumbnail images to see all content along with the course description.

Who is able to take UNG Online self-paced workshops?

DETI offers our self-paced workshops to both faculty and staff. Students have a separate list to choose from.

What is the best web browser to use for completing self-paced workshops? 

We recommend the latest version of Google Chrome for the best results with our self-paced workshops.  

Do I receive a certificate upon completion of the UNG Online self-paced workshop?

After successfully completing the self-paced workshop, participants receive a badge that, combined with additional badgescan add up to a UNG Online Teaching Certificate.

How long do I have to take the self-paced workshop? Do I have to take it at one time?

The self-paced workshops can be started and finished at any time.
