DETI on myUNG

DETI’s FAQ page provides answers to the most common questions asked by instructors regarding Brightspace by D2L, the Learning Management System used at UNG.

For questions about products DETI supports, use the left-rail navigation to locate:

Faculty Resources – Information about products and services used in online learning, such as Turnitin, Top Hat, SoftChalk, Respondus, and more.

DETI Media Center – Details about Kaltura Video Platform and Closed-Captioning instructions.

DETI Service Ticket

DETI assists instructors with online and blended (hybrid) course design. That includes Quality Matters reviews, instructional design support, closed-captioning of multimedia, instructional video recording, and faculty mentoring.

DETI can provide answers to your Brightspace by D2L, ProctorU, Respondus, Kaltura, SoftChalk, Turnitin, Blackboard Collaborate, and Top Hat questions.

eLearning@UNG Tutorials

Instructors can request access (submit a DETI Service Ticket) to this eLearning module. Pin it to your eLearning@UNG home page for easy access.

This guide contains how-to videos and information about using eLearning@UNG (D2L) tools.  The resources are organized by tool or tool groups (named functionally).

DETI Calendar

DETI provides workshops, webinars, and walk-in clinics on a variety of topics for instructors throughout the year.

Instructors can request individual or group workshops and webinars by submitting a DETI Service Ticket.

D2L Help Center

USG’s Help Center provides users with Brightspace by D2L information. This website contains a searchable database – available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, plus live chat.

A complete transcript of your completed chat transcript can be emailed to you for future reference.
