Smarthinking is an easy-to-use, free online tutoring service, available to all UNG students – online and face-to-face.

Students access Smarthinking by logging in to eLearning@UNG (D2L) and clicking the Free Online Tutoring link. They cannot log in at smarthinking.com or pearson.com.

Smarthinking provides assistance and​​ tutoring in a variety of subjects, some of which are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

It provides tutoring in subjects such as Writing (all subjects), Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Accounting, Economics, Spanish, Statistics and more. Students can “drop-in” for live tutoring, submit questions for a response within 24 hours, schedule an appointment, and view archives of past sessions.

Smarthinking also provides career writing services for improving resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and job application essays.
