Mandatory Attendance Requirements

UNG requires all undergraduate online students to complete two (2) attendance activities for enrollment verification in EACH online class.

To be counted PRESENT, eLearning@UNG students must complete the following tasks.

  • Log in to eLearning@UNG (D2L) during the first week of class using UNG credentials.
  • Take the Mandatory Attendance Quiz in EACH eLearning@UNG class.
  • Complete the Introduction Discussions Activity in EACH eLearning@UNG class.

Remind Your Students: Post an announcement in your course and email your students a gentle reminder of the mandatory attendance requirements.

Academic Alert Form: DETI Early Alert Report merged with UNG Academic Alert.

Look for the link on the Student Success Alert widget in eLearning@UNG (D2L). The form is used to report students needing academic assistance.

If a student fails to complete the mandatory attendance requirements, and you are unable to contact the student, complete the Academic Alert form. An Online Student Success Advisor will connect the student with the proper resources and report the findings back to you.

DO NOT report students as non-attending or withdraw students before the end of the add/drop period.
