This webinar demonstrates the use of the Discussion Tool, a course activity that can be assessed and entered in the D2L Gradebook. Asynchronous online discussions can take place here.

This webinar will demonstrate the use of the Groups Tool, used for group activities such as discussions and assignments.

This webinar will demonstrate how to create and use D2L Brightspace Rubrics in eLearning@UNG.
Designing and Developing an Online Course – Part 1 (DETI Webinar)
July 13 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
This short course will outline and demonstrate how to plan and design an online course using the basic course design theories of “backward design,” ADDIE, and alignment. There will also be an introduction to the Quality Matters (QM) Rubric and how it is used at UNG in the course design process. The attendee will study the preparation of learning objectives and how to assess their achievement. This will lay the groundwork for the development phase of an online course.

Grading in D2L: eLearning@UNG (D2L) (DETI Webinar)

This webinar will explain and demonstrate the administration of grading, including associating grade items with activities and assessments, student grade views, and releasing current and final grades.
Using SoftChalk – Course Lesson Creation (DETI Webinar)
July 19 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
This webinar will introduce SoftChalk, an industry leading course lesson authoring software, and its Cloud component that can be used to create and host complete course lessons that contain interactivity and assessments.
Designing and Developing an Online Course – Part 2 (DETI Webinar)
July 20 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
This short course will pick up with the work done in the “Planning and Design an Online Course” offering to develop the resources and activities that will facilitate the achievement of the course learning objectives. The attendee will create a one lesson practice course in the UNG LMS that will demonstrate building an actual online course at UNG. Application of the Quality Matters Rubric standards will be covered as they apply to the building and development of the online course, as well as the use of the UNG Online recommended Online Course Template.
