Kaltura, the video platform used by UNG, is upgrading their servers. The result is a slowdown of service, and occasionally, Kaltura will not be available.

This affects uploading media (videos and audio), closed-captioning (automatic captioning and manual updates), and displaying videos in the My Media section of eLearning@UNG (D2L).

Rarely, media will never upload and process. DETI has instructions for locating and uploading files created in Kaltura Capture.

Update – Video transcoding processing, uploads, and closed-captioning are still experiencing delays. Kaltura is expecting to have these issues fixed by Monday, Sept. 7.
