An older web browser may cause errors when logging into or using cloud-based software such as Brightspace by D2L, Kaltura, Blackboard Collaborate Ultra, and SoftChalk.
If you are using a personal computer, check for updates regularly or set your browser to update automatically. UNG issued computers should update on a regular basis.
Google Chrome Browser
Open Chrome and type (or copy and paste this text) chrome://settings/help in the address bar, and press Enter.
The update will either start, you will be asked to click an update link, or you will see a message indicating the browser is up to date.

Firefox Browser
The default setting for Firefox is set to automatically update.
To manually update, visit Firefox’s Download page. (mozilla.org)
Safari for Mac
Safari is integrated into the Mac operating system. Keep the operating system up to date for the latest version of Safari.
