Planning and Designing an Online Course – Webinar (Online Only)

This short course will outline and demonstrate how to plan and design an online course using the basic course design theories of “backward design,” ADDIE, and alignment. There will also be an introduction to the Quality Matters (QM) Rubric and how it is used at UNG in the course design process. The attendee will study the preparation of learning objectives and how to assess their achievement. This will lay the groundwork for the development phase of an online course.

Developing and Building an Online Course – Webinar (Online Only)
December 3 @ 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm
This short course will pick up with the work done in the “Planning and Design an Online Course” offering to develop the resources and activities that will facilitate the achievement of the course learning objectives. The attendee will create a one-lesson practice course in eLearning@UNG (D2L) that will demonstrate building an actual online course at UNG. Application of the Quality Matters Rubric standards will be covered as they apply to the building and development of the online course, as well as the use of the UNG Online recommended Online Course Template.
