Japanese students from Nanzan University to arrive to UNG in February 2019 to collaborate with UNG students in the Japanese Program
The Japanese Program is working with Nanzan University (NU), Nagoya, Japan who just received a five-year grant for U.S.-Japan COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) Initiative to create unique learning opportunities for both NU and UNG students. In addition to the existing UNG’s summer study abroad program at NU, we are launching an NU’s faculty-led short-term study abroad program starting in February-March 2019. Each program is designed for students to academically collaborate with a partner student of the host institution prior arrival. Once they arrive at the host institution, they meet their partners face-to-face for further academic collaborations and social interactions. The combination of online collaboration and face-to-face interaction is to provide students with a unique, in-depth intercultural learning experience.
