Dr. Tatiana Maslova has published a book chapter in the edited volume Student-Centered Approaches to Russian Language Teaching, published by Routledge (2023). Dr. Maslova’s chapter is titled “Self-efficacy-based instructional method in teaching beginner Russian: Toward better strategic self-regulated learning”.
The question driving the researcher in her empirical study was: How can language instructors help their students become more self-regulated and efficient? The results of the study with novice level students of Russian demonstrated the benefits of applying a self-efficacy-based instructional method to foster the students’ strategic self-regulation at the early stages of language learning.
Congratulations, Dr. Maslova!
