Even in this modern age it can be hard to predict what job opportunities will come forth on the horizon for Political Science majors. Fresh faced graduates must research and prepare themselves to stay ahead of the curve. Yet, how can the University of North Georgia Alumni stay ahead of the curve, and how are they supposed to know what to stay ahead of in an ever-changing world?

According to the department of labor, a Political Science degree affords many possibilities:

  • Miscellaneous Managers: This field is projected to grow by 8%, which is comparative to the national average for other fields.
  • Paralegals and Legal Assistants: This field is projected to grow by 15% from 2016-2026, which is considered much faster than the average.
  • Advertising, Promotions, and Marketing Managers: This field is expected to grow 10% by 2026, which is slightly faster than the national average.
  • Sales Managers: This field is projected to grow at 7% from 2016-2026, which is on track with the national average.
  • Human Resource Specialists: This field is projected to advance at 7%, which is right on par with the national average.
  • Human Resource Managers: This field is projected to grow at 9% from 2016 to 2026, which is about average compared to other fields.
  • Management Analysts: This field is predicted to grow by 14% from 2016 to 2026, which is faster than the average job growth for other fields.

 

As shown, many possibilities for Political Science majors are growing and expanding. Political Science is a degree that affords earners the chance to enter a diverse array of occupations.
