Drs. Douglas Young and Sarah Young attended the Groundhog Day Trivia Challenge hosted by the Alpha Upsilon Phi chapter of Sigma Tau Delta on the Gainesville Campus. Although the group is an English Honor Society, the Trivia Night questions are general trivia that range from literature to space to popular culture and beyond. The event helps to promote our honor society as well as collect donation items for the UNG Food Pantry in the form of participant entry fees. Everyone always has a lot of fun communicating over pizza with their teammates about their answers, while also listening to the songs in order to guess the bonus question. Compelled by the wonderful playlist, participants often dance and sing along with popular songs that are played from the 60s to songs that are popular now. At the end of the night, 3rd and 2nd place win certificates and chocolate, and 1st place win tiny trophies and amazon gift cards. Trivia Night has been going strong for the last 5 years, and we hope to keep the momentum going.
