The student organization, STAT, Students Today – Alumni Tomorrow (formally the Student Alumni Association) honored Dr. Douglas Young last April at its annual Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day for his exceptional service to UNG students on the Gainesville campus in the field of political science and international affairs during 2016-2017.
