Year of the Books Chat: August

This August, I’ve been reading nonfiction titles with a lot of pictures. Thanks to printing technology, pictures are included in adult books more than they were 20 years ago. It’s easier to take a picture and reproduce it as a high quality for print, which is important for nonfiction works like monographs and textbooks.

In my library, my ‘picture’ books are my hobby books. I’ve been reading a new cookbook, preparing for next year’s indoor garden, and learning about new embroidery stitches. What new hobbies are you reading about?
