About the event
To help instructors will consider how Open Pedagogy can benefit both students and instructors, this workshop will discuss open pedagogical concepts and goals, along with their relationship to HIPs. After a brainstorming session with attendees, it will then propose ways of applying Open Pedagogy to already-developed and new course assignments and/or already-developed and new courses.

About the speaker
Bonnie (B.J.) Robinson is Director of the University of North Georgia Press and Professor of English. She has overseen the publication of twenty-three peer reviewed open textbooks, and five in progress; served on six successful Affordable Learning Georgia grant teams, and two in progress; and co-edited British Literature I and edited British Literature II, totaling 45,903 downloads in 128 countries. Also, she has guest-edited a special issue on Women Writers 1890-1918 for Victorian Poetry (Spring 2000); published several articles on creative writing, publishing, and late-Victorian literature, including “The Other’s Other: Neo-Victorian Depictions of Constance Lloyd Wilde Holland” (Neo-Victorian Studies); and published a book of poetry entitled He/She/Eye (Snake Nation Press).
