Reviews
“Absolutely essential reading for anyone studying the history and command structure of the Israel Defense Force, Mission Command in the Israel Defense Forces is accessibly organized and presented in five major sections: Theory; An Army is Born; Leaders Talk; Mission Command Put to Test; Mission Command Over the Horizon. Additional enhanced for academia, Mission Command in the Israel Defense Forces also features an informative Introduction by Brig. General Gideon Avidor and two Appendices (Terminology; Abbreviations). A seminal study, Mission Command in the Israel Defense Forces is an especially and unreservedly recommended addition to personal, professional, community, college, and university library Military History collections in general, and Israeli Military History supplemental curriculum reading lists in particular.”
