“That was the day I learned the truth.”
That was the day I learned the truth. All my life, I had believed an unconvincing lie. Everyone I knew deceived me. Why? I don’t know. What I do know is that I was manipulated and used. I had trusted these people, only to be betrayed. And I knew in that moment that I would never trust again. How could I? When you find out that chocolate milk doesn’t come from brown cows, all your faith in people leaves. I will never be the same.
