UNG Enactus participates in The Bert Show’s Big Thank You Project

Over the past few weeks, the UNG Enactus team has been hard at work participating in The Bert Show’s Big Thank You Project. ¬†This annual project asks individuals and groups to write letters to American troops overseas simply to say thank you. The goal is to make sure that every serviceman and woman deployed outside the United States receives a letter of gratitude on Thanksgiving Day.

“On behalf of UNG Enactus, we want to thank everyone who contributed to this project, either by volunteering or writing letters,” said undergraduate student and UNG Enactus team member Kristin Xiong. ¬†“We have been able to collect 1,032 letters in the month of October through these efforts. We can’t express how thankful we are to have reached our goal and now over a thousand troops will be able to receive these letters on the day of Thanksgiving.”

Enactus is a community of student, academic and business leaders committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to transform lives and shape a better more sustainable world.
