This year, and for the first time, the Mike Cottrell College of Business is partnering with the Center for Global Engagement to offer a new study abroad trip to Rome! This 5 week summer program begins on June 25 and ends on August 2.
The Rome Study Abroad Program is designed to expose UNG business undergraduate students to Italian business practices and culture. The program includes two courses, Operations Management: BUSA 3120, that is part of the business core so that students make progress in their BBA degree and a study abroad course that will let students gain an understanding of Italian culture, government and business practices.
The program also includes visits to historic sites and to a variety of Italian businesses in the region surrounding Rome.
During the study abroad, participants will reside and study at the facilities of John Cabot University, an American University in Rome, founded in 1972. Students will stay in JCU student apartments that have full-time security.
