Enactus Students chosen for internships following conference

Every year, the Enactus Fall Leadership Conference invites some of the most prominent organizations in the world to accept internship applications from students throughout their international footprint.  Two UNG undergraduate students have been selected for internships through these programs.  Both students have been through a rigorous internship selection process.

This February, Maria Carpio, will be traveling to Orlando to serve as an intern at Walt Disney World.  As part of the Disney College Program students receive on-the-job experiences in the parks and resorts and meet other students from all over the world.

Babila Lima will serve as an intern this summer at Vanguard Mutual Fund headquarters just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Vanguard was founded in 1975 and now internationally known for their client service and the highest-value products in the mutual fund industry.  Vanguard manages nearly 170 U.S. funds totaling approximately $2 trillion plus additional funds in international markets.  During the internship, Lima will support business units and assist with high impact projects.
