The Bra and Panty Club

Know someone (possibly in your basement) experiencing ‘failure to launch’? Join GTA for this world premiere comedy about that moment of realization that it’s time for the Big Girl Panties!

Addie has worked for three years in the Lingerie Department of the best department store in the second-best mall in town. …and it was supposed to be a temporary after-graduation job! In this off-kilter comedy, Addie copes with ridiculous co-workers and customers, office politics, an unexpected Prince Charming and a bomb scare (maybe). How to cope? Well, for a start, Sleeping Beauty needs to wake up, already. A world premiere of the script by Gay H. Hammond.

Comments from patrons at the staged reading:
“The characters are so funny that it’s easy to overlook the symbolism of Womanhood everywhere – you shouldn’t.”
“Not just a Southern comedy, but a witty look at the paralysis the idea of adulthood can cause.”
