Legally Blonde

“…This is no lazy screen-to-stage adaptation ~ Legally Blonde the Musical totally trumps its source material, translating a slight screenplay into fizzy rhyming couplets that would make Alexander Pope proud.” –THE GUARDIAN

“…Don’t underestimate the potency of [this show’s feel-good formula], which insists that a girl can be a powder puff and a power broker at the same time.” –NEW YORK TIMES

A fabulously fun, award-winning musical adaptation of the 2001 hit movie, Legally Blonde The Musical, follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. Elle Woods appears to have it all. But when her boyfriend dumps her so he can attend Harvard Law, Elle ingeniously charms her way into the prestigious law school. While there, she struggles with peers, professors and her ex. With the support of some new friends, though, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world. Action-packed and exploding with memorable songs and dynamic dances – this musical is so much fun, it should be illegal! Music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin and book by Heather Hach.
