Photos, Graphics, and Videos

Use these three sources to legally download photos, videos and graphics for use in online and face-to-face classes. Be sure to read the website’s license agreement before using the images.

Pixabay

The site offers a huge selection of photos, vector graphics, illustrations and video clips.

Registration is optional and free.

Full-sized images and vector graphics are only available to registered users.

Prove that you are not a robot and download an image. Registration gives you more sizes and vector graphics.

Pixabay even has an app for Apple and Android devices.

All content is provided for use under Creative Commons CC0 license.

Pexels.com

Similar to Pixabay. It contains a wide variety of photographs. Simply choose an image, select a size and click the “Free download” button.

Pexels.com only has photographs. For video clips, visit https://videos.pexels.com.

Videos are covered under Creative Commons CC0 license. Photos have a simple website license agreement.

Unsplash.com

This site has many gorgeous  photos (no graphics or videos).

Find a photo, click the “Download free” button, and it’s yours to use.

Just like Pexels.com, the website has its own license agreement.

*NOTE: You need to obtain a model or property release when using photos of identifiable people and certain property. Creative Commons-licensed images may violate privacy laws, even when used for educational purposes.
