The Accountants of North Georgia, A New Shared Interest Group

At the University of North Georgia, we recognize that groups that share a common affinity or bond based on experience, academic affiliation, profession or other interests are an important part of our UNG network.   The Accountants of North Georgia, our newest shared interest group, is dedicated to supporting current and future professionals who share a passion for accounting and The Mike Cottrell College of Business.

The Accountants of North Georgia sponsors and supports social, educational, and professional development activities to create opportunities for accounting students and alumni of UNG.  “We’re excited our alumni want to stay connected to their alma mater and help in our work to build strong graduates and strong communities,” says Dr. Donna Mayo, Dean of the Mike Cottrell College of Business.

Membership in the Accountants of North Georgia is open to alumni, students, faculty, and friends of the UNG accounting program.  Annual dues are $20.00 per person and benefits of membership include:

·      Invitations to networking and social events.

·      Opportunities to engage with students and share your expertise.

·      Updates on UNG, the Mike Cottrell College of Business, and accounting programs.
