The Mike Cottrell College of Business will be hosting Kathy Tillman on our Gainesville campus as the next speaker in our Cottrell Speaker Series on October 23rd.

A graduate of the University of North Georgia with BBAs in both accounting and finance, Kathy is now a Certified Public Accountant and has been in practice for over 30 years. She is currently a managing partner in the firm of Tillman, Bailey, Samples & Associates, LLP. As a multi-service firm, they provide tax, estate planning, audit and accounting services to both businesses and individuals. They serve clients located in Georgia, multiple states and even other countries.

Kathy plays an active role in the Gainesville community and currently serves on the board of Habitat for Humanity of Hall County. She has previously been a member of many boards in the North Georgia community including North Georgia Community Foundation, United Way of Hall County and Wells Fargo Community Advisory Board. She has previously served as President of Northeast Georgia Chapter of Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and President of Junior League of Gainesville-Hall County. She is a past board member of various other local crisis and environmental agencies and a founding member of WomenSource, Inc., a non-profit organization.
