Godspell

Godspell

” You can give up, bitter and battered, or you can slowly start to build A beautiful city…”

Calling people from all walks of life, Godspell is the lyrical retelling of the life and parables of Jesus, as penned by the renowned Stephen Schwartz before he created the musical blockbusters Pippin or Wicked or penned the lyrics to Disney’s Pocahontas and Enchanted. After being performed on four continents and numerous Broadway and off-Broadway revivals, Godspell invites us to “prepare ye the way” with John the Baptist and a re-envisioned band of followers sharing the comical and touching teachings of Christ through inspired choreography and lyrics. Score by Stephen Schwartz, book by John-Michael Tebelak.
